After a long holiday with a lot of cycling through Switzerland and France and leading an LCKV-jeugdvakanties holidaycamp I got back to filming, or rather; editing. M and I are very busy putting parts of films in my mac. I decided to write this blog in English as I get more English-speaking fans every day ;-)
Plans for this academic year are: finishing the small documentary on philosophy in secondary education and hopefully start with the film about Jaap and his efforts to show that the Cito-toets which has become way too important in Dutch secondary education. It segregates children at a very young age (11) into different levels of education. Before the holidays started I had a chance to see the results of my interviews for X, it was professionally edited and looked very funny. I will tell you more about this when it will be broadcasted.
It seems that our little film about philosphy-education could be quite well. Some anoying things show up: background noise etc. But there is enough material to choose from. Our three kids seem to do quite well on film.
I bought a cool telephone that can film too!
